Want to coach a team?

Each team will need a Manager (known in weekend baseball as a Head Coach) and at least one Assistant Coach. The Hills Juniors Childsafe policy requires us to appoint such officials only after receiving a written application and conducting an interview.

If you already coach a team involved in Hills, you will have already been through this process via your club, or something similar. In any case, simply click here to compose an email to us, and we'll be in touch in a few days.

Coaching Little League is a great way to improve your coaching credentials, without taking the bolder step of applying for a district Representative team. You can hone your skills, learn from mentors (and perhaps make a few mistakes!), but all within a local and supportive development environment. You WILL be a better coach at the end of this programme than you were at the beginning.

Only Level 0 accreditation is required for a Little League Head Coach, and no accreditation is needed for the Assistant(s). A minimum of Level 3 is required for all applicants who want to coach in the Tournament Teams to contest the State Championships at Easter.

Available to umpire in Little League?

We need you. Desperately. Please click here to register your interest in umpiring. In that email, please let us know when you would be available.

Other positions available

We also need one Executive Officer (EO) per team, and one scorer per team. We expect these positions to be filled by parents involved with each team, but would still like to hear from anyone who would like to help out in this capacity. Click here to contact us.
