Player eligibility ...

To play, you must be aged 10, 11 or 12 as at April 30th, 2010. This means you will have been born between May 1st, 1997 and April 30th, 2000.

All players of the correct age who are registered with a Hills member club have been sent an invitation.

Major & Minor Divisions ...

The Hills Holiday Season Little League competition is run in two leagues:-

  • a Minor League format as defined by Little League Inc rules for those players aged 10 or younger, and
  • a Major League format as defined by Little League Inc rules for those players aged 11 or 12.

However, to be in a Tournament Team, you have to be 11 or 12. 10-year-olds are most welcome to play in the Holiday Season Minor League but are ineligible for selection in a Tournament Team.

Not already playing baseball with Hills? ...

Sorry. In past seasons, we have offered this activity to players outside the Hills member clubs. This season, due to limited space, we're not able to do so.

Who are the coaches and other officials?

Coaches and umpires are appointed by Hills in late December. Scorers and  managers are drawn from the families of the players in each team.
