All players will be expected to have
their own baseball glove, playing
pants, shoes, socks, and a groin
protector. The colour of uniform
items like pants and socks doesn't
matter:- just use the ones you have
for club games.
Once you register for Holiday Little League,
Hills will provide a playing shirt
and cap.
Cost for
currently registered weekend players
in Hills
Players who are currently (Summer
2011/12) registered in any of our Hills
member clubs will play for free.
The cost is being subsidised by
Turtle Landscape Supplies.
Cost for
non-Hills
players
Sorry, we're not accepting
players from outside Hills this
season.
Costs
associated with being selected in a
Tournament Team
The State Championships will be
held in Shellharbour around Easter
2012. There will be a cost involved
in attending (uniforms, equipment,
accommodation, transport, etc), but
we are hoping to secure sponsorship
for this. Any fees required from
players will be published before the
Tournament Teams are selected.
Costs
associated with winning the NSW
State Championship
If a Hills Tournament Team wins
the NSW State Championships, it will
be required to travel to the
National Tournament (probably in
Queensland) in May 2012. We estimate
the cost of this to be about $1,100,
but that figure should be taken only
as a guide. In past years, BNSW subsidised
the cost, which was capped at
$550/player, but there's no
guarantee this will be the case this
year.
A fixed price will be
published before the Tournament
Teams are selected. Parents are
welcome to accompany the team at
their own cost.
Players who do not wish to go to
the National Championships should
decline any offer made to
participate in the Tournament Teams.
Costs
associated with winning the National
Championship
If our Tournament Team is
successful at the National
Championships, all travel and
accommodation costs to attend the
international tournaments were
covered by the ABF last season.
Currently, we have no advice that
this will not be true for this
season.
Parents
wishing to accompany their children
may do so at their own cost.
